EcoFocus: Greenwashing, corporate sustainability and the case for high-speed rail

Posting in Cities

At the EcoFocus event in New York City, SmartPlanet editor Andrew Nusca talks with Hewlett Packard about greenwashing, corporate sustainability and the case for high-speed rail.

At the EcoFocus event on Earth Day in New York City, I bumped into my friends at Hewlett Packard, who asked me if I could be so kind as to go on camera and talk shop -- "green" shop, that is -- about reducing one's carbon footprint.

I'm hardly the greenest guy on the block, but I was happy to oblige.

In the video, HP's Greta Schlender and I discuss the challenges corporations face when going green, minimizing your personal carbon footprint and my one wish to help America function smarter.

(Here's a hint: choo-choo.)
