One of the oldest SmartPlanet blogs is getting a new name.
“Smart Takes” will soon be called “The Bulletin.” The change will take place over the next few weeks.
The reason? Smart Takes started as an editor’s blog, where editor-in-chief Larry Dignan and I offered our take — get it? — on the day’s headlines. Over three years’ time, Smart Takes evolved into a place where the newsiest stories could be found. Want your pulse on the day’s news through a SmartPlanet lens? You got it.
“The Bulletin” will continue to offer that stream of news briefs with rapid-fire precision. We’re working hard to clarify how we organize things here on SmartPlanet; this is a first step.
