The World's Greenest Museum

The California Academy of Sciences re-opended last year after a three-year four hundred and eighty million dollar renovation. Not only was the museum able to achieve the status of being the only museum in the world with a Tropical Reef, Natural History Museum, Planetarium and four-story indoor Rain Forest, but they did so while becoming the greenest museum on the planet. In this special BNET reported hosted by Sumi Das, the Academy's Manager of Sustainability Programs, Aaron Pope, tells us about the project, the very real cost savings and some fun facts.
