The folks at One Block Off the Grid have compiled global figures of installed solar capacity share. The U.S. makes the list, but it lags far behind the leader.
The precipitous drop in solar panel costs, incentives and technological improvements have helped drive demand and installations globally. Not every country is on the solar power installation spree. But the ones on the bus have been busy.
The folks over at One Block Off the Grid used data from the European Photovoltaic Industry Association's 2015 Global Market Outlook to determine the top 10 countries for installed solar. The figures represent global installed capacity share in 2010. Check it out and pay attention to the countries that could see that installation pace slow because of regulatory changes or a decrease in incentives.
