Deal between Car Charging Group and Ace Parking Management marks the second such arrangement in as many months with a private garage management company.

The deal uses technology supplied by ChargePoint Network. Charging locations are shown on the map above.

Miami-based electric vehicle charging network provider Car Charging Group has inked another deal with a large parking management company to install electric vehicle charging technology at its garage locations.

The agreement between Car Charging Group and Ace Parking Management calls for Level II, 240-volt electric vehicle charing stations supplied by the ChargePoint Network to be installed at select Ace Parking garages. The company manages more than 450 locations in eight different states; it is based in San Diego.

Car Charging Group retains ownership of the charging technology, and it will provide a cut of the service fees to Ace Parking in exchange for being located at its sites.

The deal follows one that Car Charging Group inked in September with Central Parking and USA Parking System.

Said Brian Golomb, sales director for Car Charging Group:

"We've had great success in partnering with parking garages across the country. Forward-thinking garage owners and managers such as Ace Parking understand the economic and environmental benefits of installing EV charging stations, as well as their importance to the developing EV industry and their role in attracting environmentally conscious customers."

The electric vehicle charging installations are just one of the green initiatives being embraced by Ace Parking. The company also has invested in solar trees, environmentally friendly shuttle buses and green car washes. It offers discounted pricing for hybrid cars.
