What are the best cars you can buy?

If you're looking for a particular type of vehicle and money was no object, what should be at the top of your list?
Written by Charlie Osborne, Contributing Writer

Space? Interactive technology? Value for money? Aesthetics?

These are all questions we ask ourselves when looking for a new vehicle. When looking at motorbikes my concerns are whether I can still touch the ground while stationary and its overall weight, but for car drivers who may have families to chauffeur around or are simply speed demons, the vehicle may have more than one function to fulfil.

Automotive site Edmunds.com has compiled a list of the 17 "best" cars depending on what category of vehicle you're seeking -- and assuming money is no object.

In the editor's opinion, out of the 17 cars, 14 brands offer the best vehicles on the road -- led by Toyota with three vehicles and Honda with two. The full list can be found here, with explanations from the site as to why each car made the top spot.
