2.) Wireless bike offers ride into smart-tech future. A Cambridge innovation hothouse has created a wireless bicycle that could incorporate GPS and map data to change gear in anticipation of upcoming hills and a range of monitoring tools to ensure healthy riding.

3.) Qualcomm boss: Smart watches are the future, not Google Glass. Qualcomm is one of the companies at the forefront of augmented reality development. Its Vuforia mobile platform is behind many of the advancements in AR applications for phones and tablets. However, the company's boss is not a big fan of wearable AR - Google Glass included.
