Apple is building another solar farm

Having lived near Prineville, OR I know the ground. It's mostly a sagebrush and rabbitbrush desert with some scattered juniper trees. Lots of sunny days there so the solar array should work pretty well.
Apple's NC server farm cut down 100 acres of hardwood forest (able to supply ~10 Prius' carbon neutralization, and this is 'green'> Really?
Give up a forest for Siri? No Apple products for me.
If Apple wanted to be 'green', they'd sponsor local solar arrays on homes, businesses, schools, parking, etc., as has been increasingly done in Calif. There's more sunlit human structure on Earth than needed to meet all peak daytime power demands.
Read that again TimC ol' boy. Cut a tree, miss my $.
