ZDNet UK seeks reporter

Are you keen to write about the fascinating and fast-moving world of IT? This could be your chance....
Written by ZDNet UK, Contributor

ZDNet UK is looking to get 2006 off to a great start by hiring another reporter to work on our news desk.

We want someone with a deep interest in information technology and communications who also has the ability to find exclusive stories, write breaking news to tight deadlines and interview some of the biggest names in the industry. The job involves international travel and is based in CNET Networks' UK offices at London's Tower Hill.

Journalism experience and training would be advantageous, but we're also keen to hear from people working in the technology industry who are considering moving into the media.

2005 was a great year for ZDNet UK. Among other highlights, we campaigned against excessive mobile charges, showed why companies keep quiet about open source migrations, exposed serious problems at Bulldog, revealed that Munich's Linux migration has been delayed, brought you the story of the NASA hacker, and tracked Time Computers' collapse.

Can you help us make 2006 even better? If so, contact news editor Graeme Wearden at graeme.wearden@zdnet.co.uk.
